This amazing new weapon has already begun to infiltrate the tournament scene, and it’s easy to see why – the power of this card is too strong to ignore.
Rogues already have several competing daggers in the 2 cost slot; Retainer’s Blade, Perdition’s Blade, and Black Amnesty are all strong choices, and the Whispering Blade of Slaying serves to pump them all up on turn 1.
Rogues already have several ways of pumping up daggers, and the classic deck that continues to be at the forefront of the solo rogues is Daspien Bladedancer.

Let’s take a sample turn:
Turn 1: Surprise Attacks (+1)
Turn 2: Surprise Attacks + Eye of Rend (+3)
Turn 3: Perdition’s Blade, attack (total of 5 points of damage)
Turn 4: Sinister Revenge (has a total of 5 +1 ATK counters, and is a total of a 9 ATK weapon), swing with both weapons (doing a total of 14 points of damage, bringing it up to a total of 19)
Turn 5: Sinister Revenge (has a total of 9 +1 ATK counters after destroying Perdition’s Blade, total of 13 ATK), swing with both daggers for a total of 22 points of damage (bringing it up to a total of 41 points) – game over for most at this point.
Turn 6: If it’s necessary, you could flip Daspien for a total of 22 points here.
