World of Warcraft TCG – Traps! (Part 2)
Welcome to the second part of my article about traps for hunters! You can read Part 1 here. In this article, we’ll talk about the support cards for this mechanic, and then take a look at a sample deck list.
Bait the Trap

This simple card allows you to exhaust your allies rather than your hero to play your traps for “free”. This generally works better in Alliance than Horde, since none of your allies (excepting possible Leeroy Jenkins or Zip) will have ferocity, but it’s okay either way. This allows your allies to have a measure of protection in order to use traps too. Assuming you use this card, you may find yourself using cards to read your allies to use traps as well.
Darnassus

This generally bad location can be served to allow your hunter to exhaust for whatever reason, then ready him for trap usage at the end of the turn. This, does, however, limit you to Night Elf.
Resourcefulness

Want something else to do with your hero (and your allies) should they not use a trap card because your opponent fears your trap powers? Well, Resourcefulness will make sure your ready hero and allies don’t go to waste – you can complete quests to draw cards, play instant abilities, and more with this amazing acceleration card. You can even make greater use of the Band of Vile Aggression; using your hero and allies to power it up!
Swift Nightsaber

Another Night Elf card, this one allows you to ready your hero when you place a resource; again allowing you to do something with your hero and then ready it for trap use.
