Wizards of the Coast Invites PAX East Attendees to Experience Super Friday Night Magic and D&D Encounters

WHAT

Wizards of the Coast is heading to Boston, MA to exhibit the latest releases for Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering at PAX East 2010.

Wizards will be hosting one of the largest Friday Night Magic events of the year, where brand new content from the upcoming set, Rise of the Eldrazi, will be revealed in the form of a massive Magic card. PAX East attendees will also have the opportunity to demo the popular Xbox LIVE Arcade® title, Duels of the Planeswalkers and participate in Magic tournaments throughout the weekend.

Dungeons & Dragons fans can visit the Wizards booth to learn more about the new Players Handbook 3, learn about the recently launched D&D Encounters program and see a life-size demo of the world’s most iconic roleplaying game.

Wizards of the Coast is taking the Friday Night Magic tradition to the next level at PAX East with Super Friday Night Magic. Throughout the weekend, fans will also be treated to sneak peeks of upcoming products and opportunities to meet with famed Magic R&D members.

· Super Friday Night Magic (SFNM) is the place to be on the Friday night of PAX East. Magic fans of all types and skill levels are invited to play in the tournament and enjoy the Magic comradely at the convention. At SFNM, Wizards of the Coast will unveil an exclusive spoiler card from Rise of the Eldrazi that’s printed on a massive Magic card. All PAX East attendees will receive a $5 coupon to SFNM in their welcome bags.

· The upcoming Duel Deck: Phyrexia vs. The Coalition will be featured in the booth throughout the weekend.
