Upper Deck No Longer Renewing Blizzard License for World of Warcraft (Part 2)

The following includes several interesting links regarding recent “dramatic” events related to Upper Deck Entertainment, including a statement from Matt Markhoff (one of the top players for the World of Wwarcraft TCG) who was recently banned playing the game and from the forums. Apparently, many players, including Matt, have not yet received their winning prize cheques from last summer, and this seems very irresponsible on UDE’s part.

Lastly, I’ve included the conclusion of the Konami vs. UDE dispute over Yu-Gi-Oh!; in which Konami alleges that UDE printed counterfeit cards. The final official announcements are below – notice how different the two sound. Because of this difference, we know that UDE will always post themselves in a positive light – so is this Blizzard thing actually worse than it sounds?

Only time will tell.
