Welcome once again to another installment of our series in which we’re counting down the top twenty games on the Nintendo DS handheld system in celebration of the upcoming release of the Nintendo 3DS. We’ve seen virtual dogs, British detectives, rhythmic exercises, and much more already; and we’re only halfway through the countdown. If you have for some reason missed the previous parts then feel free to catch up via the links given here (for part one) and here (for part two). Now without anymore delay, let us get down to the top ten games on the Nintendo DS.

10.) The Ace Attorney Series -

Few will object that one of the greatest plots for the Nintendo DS is that of Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney. With countless twists and turns and the game putting you in the role of the attorney that must figure it all out, its no wonder that this game has such a huge fanbase. Where the story is simply brilliant, what’s even greater is its amazing cast of characters each with its own unique (and at times hilarious) personalities. Though there’s no voice overs in this game you’ll find yourself reading the dialogue in various accents as the Ace Attorney games have their text written in that exact manner. If you have yet to play one of these games then you are really missing out on an amazing story that can only be experienced by shouting “Objection!” and throwing evidence around. Even if you’ve never played a text game or haven’t really liked such games then you should still look into this series as the courtroom scenes will raise adrenaline as you put the witness on edge with a simple accusation.
