I recently became introduced to making money over the internet. And before you ask, no, it's nothing dodgy.

I was told about the site called Points2Shop. After looking over their main page and re-reading it a few times, I thought it sounded great. With free sign up, surveys handed to you on a platter, and eligibility for residents over the age of 13 in the UK, US, and Canada, it seemed like a pretty easy way to get free stuff on Amazon.

Before signing up, I Googled the site to see if it was legitimate and safe. Admittedly, there were a few forum posts telling me Points2Shop was a scam, but when I read the whole topic and looked more into the user posting the information, I saw that the user was an old rule-breaker and probably not the best source. One thing I quickly picked up was that Points2Shop and sites similar to it were VERY protective of themselves. There is a limit of one account per household and participants are only allowed to log on at home, and not in a public place. Also, spamming of any kind is prohibited. And breaking of any of their rules will result in a suspension from the program.

Admittedly I've only been a user at Points2Shop for two weeks, so I can't say I'm an expert or that the site even pays out. What I can say is, I was sent a verification letter in the mail from the US which gave me the code I needed. I can also say that a friend I made over the internet was able to order a book after earning points and it did arrive. Delivery was slow, but it was less than three weeks.

Points2Shop isn't the only site that I've signed up to, but I can definitely say it's one of the best paying. Sites like Toluna and Light Speed Consumer Panel, and Valued Opinions are legit, but even though you get regular e-mails in your inbox telling you about surveys, you don't always get accepted. With Points2Shop, not only can you make points from surveys and completing offers, you can make even more points by playing games and getting referrals.

The reason I posted this blog here, is because I've noticed alot of users in Points2shop are ordering games, Call of Duty 4, Modern Warfare 2, Red Dead Redemtion, and lots of others. So...I kinda thought you guys would be interested.

My last piece of advice is: Don't expect miracles. You only get what you put in. So if you put the time in - do the surveys, get the referrals, and play the games - you WILL make money. But if you only visit once a week, don't expect millions.
