Make Something Unreal. And the winner is...

For those of you who follow the video game modifications scene many of you will already know the results to this year’s Make Something Unreal contest. For those unaware of such an event, the contest is an annual competition facilitated by Epic Games and Intel to help showcase the best and brightest talents within the Unreal Engine mod community.

After last year’s contest the results have now been announced, with first place being awarded to ‘The Haunted’, developed by Michael 'Hegi' Hegemann, Gerhard 'Schlauchi' Weihrauch, Tomas 'Drevlin' Lidström, Jack Menhorn, Josh 'Vertigo' Stoker& Viktor 'CDS' Lidäng.

The Haunted is a full game conversion for Unreal Tournament 3 and puts the player into the role of a human survivor against the evil forces in chilling multiplayer action.

Among the runners up was the puzzle FPS ‘The Ball’, and the military shooter ‘Angels Fall First: PlanetStorm’.
