FIFA 10 comes back after a successful year from its predecessor FIFA 09, where many gamers believed it had finally dethroned the crown of best football game currently held by Pro Evolution Soccer. The game had a new lick of paint and converted this once devoted Pro Evo fan into setting his money down for a FIFA purchase for the first time in 10 years (since FIFA 99). So how would EA go about on topping an already successful game? What new additions could they improve on to make gamers fork out more money for this latest addition? Well, FIFA 10 comes with many surprises; EA has listened to the fans demands and do they deliver? Well let’s look at some of the new features that have been added to this outing:

360 degree dribbling: A much needed feature to any football game is the ability to completely control the direction of player movements. When playing older games this addition has definitely been much needed, allowing your player to move through gaps in the defense that wouldn’t be possible otherwise. When moving the analogue stick on the controller the players reacts perfectly towards the direction you are aiming, it allows to pick a place to charge through with the ball and execute it with skill, skipping around defenders is much more rewarding given the flow of the players movements under your direct control. It's tidy but not perfect. The players can wobble about and sometimes the ball just seems to not flow alongside your feet like it’s supposed to. When you are running, whether it is a bug or not, you can sometimes find yourself tripping over the ball when trying to sprint around the pitch.
