DANIELE AZARA, PRODUCTION DIRECTOR, PALZOUN (D.A.)
GIOVANNI CATURANO, CEO, SPINVECTOR (G.C.)

Alltern8: With so many titles to buy for iphone, ipad, itouch, pc etc, what makes Bang! shine out from the rest?

G.C.: It is a very nice midpoint between a card-game and a role-based board-game with a unique feel in which a lot of analysis and psychology come in play… but it’s very easy to start playing: you basically just need to understand the concepts of BANG! and MISSED cards to get started. Moreover, the characters are super-cool and a single match can be quite quick. And, finally, which other game lets dead players win?

That happens in BANG! as well.

D.A.: Bang! Is the first MultiCross-platform game ever. It's a complete and brand-new multiplayer experience, a big step for player freedom and a chance for people to enjoy their favourite games the way they want. It's just like Internet. I can use it if I am at home with a PC or at a coffee bar with my Netbook or IPAD, or in train with a smartphone, as well. Bang! is the same thing: I can access the game every time I want and with every device I own.

A8: The innovation of multiplayer on different formats will intrigue many gamers – firstly how hard has it been technically to achieve and secondly what has been the toughest format to get right?

G.C.: Beyond the purely technical issues, the hardest part is probably harmonizing all versions and creating an environment that allows efficient vertical optimization in performance and effective vertical uniformity in logic at the same time, in short, we get the individual platforms to ‘talk’ to each other. Every platform has its sweet and sour.
