1. How did Blade Kitten originate?Blade Kitten

I've been wanting to do a cool anime sci-fi game for ages but it kept getting put off while I did games like the TY the Tasmanian Tiger series and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Once I'd done that last one and sort of fulfilled a lifelong dream I figured it was time to put my energy towards doing making my own magnum opus... or at least a fun game with stuff I love in it.

2. What inspired the Blade Kitten comic originally?

While I was working on designing the first TY world I was in the creative zone and wanted to put together a project that features all the cool bits and pieces that I love seeing in other stories. So Blade Kitten was born as an amalgam of a whole bunch of stories and ideas that were all sort of science fiction adventure stories with an anime slant that I had come up with over the years. On their own they never quite struck a chord with me, they were either too serious or too silly. When I took the best elements to make a comic they all seemed to come together perfectly to form the universe of Blade Kitten.

3. How will the new video game fit into the mythos?

The game is set a few years before the current comic with Kit a little younger but still a more than able bounty hunter. The game is set up to introduce new people to the world and still have lots for the fans of the comic. It's not an origin story though - I hate those. Well I hate doing those in chronological order. It's an earlier adventure that goes into more detail into some events that have been hinted at in the comic. You can read either one first and will be at the same point in the end.
