Twilight Saga: New Moon

Alright, time for a blog in the section of movies/films. Okay, so I'm sure there are plenty of you that have seen Twilight: New Moon. Now, for those of you who've read the thrilling book series, you would expect certain things to happen in the film or you would know about different events that would take place. But, to my disappointment and to the disappointment of thousands that went to see the movie, New Moon wasn't all that great as it was expected to be. There didn't seem to be much going on, so many scenes had been cut away that was in the book, and it was a bit slow.

Twilight was a good movie, even though many people dislike the fact of a "sparkly vampire". You'd think, with a second movie out, they would get over that by now! Anyway, back to the topic. Even though New Moon wasn't all that compared to the book, it was good in itself for the movie. Things got rather interesting towards the end and the wolves looked so good and so real for being computerized creatures. Although, the counsel of vampires was really cool to see. I think out of all of them, however, I liked Dakota Fanning. I almost didn't recognize her at first with those red eyes and the way her hair was pulled back. She looked so...sophisticated.

And then, you have the actors. They all played their characters really well and they looked great as the two different races. But, I think the main attention was on the Wolf Pack. Four hot looking guys that played the parts of wolves perfectly. If you ask me, I think they had wolfish qualities to begin with. And, speaking of wolves, Jacob was the -best- one out of the pack. The boy definitely looked fit and I don't think it would be very hard for him to outrun a "normal" human being.

So, question about the movie. Whose side are you on now that you've seen the movie or have read the book? Team Jacob vs. Team Edward. Also, who do you think would be better suited for Bella? That's just a question of your own opinion. I don't really know who she'd be better off with. I mean, both boys had serious family issues, they both hate one another, they're both in love with Bella...whew that's a lot to think about. Oh, one more question. Did Jacob look better with long or short hair? I absolutely loved him with long hair. Made him appear hotter when he had no shirt on.

I enjoyed it, and I enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than I think I would have done if Catherine Hardwicke had directed it simply because I don't feel she grasped a big enough audience. What Chris did was he removed the silly hyper speed moving leg runs and made it more blurry and he brought more action to the film. My other half hated Twilight cause it was too lovey and whatever but this one provided him with enough action that he didn't moan about watching it 300 times ^^

I constantly look at everything in life from a much broader perspective. If something is totally unfeasible, I will dislike it. However, I never read the books though my girlfriend did and she is a huge fan. As an outsider to the franchise, I really enjoyed the film and I couldn't care less the vampires sparkle.

After all, it could be a reaction to UV rays, the same way my people with allergies get inflammations on their skin when they come into contact with their allergy. Another criticism on the film is that there was no chemistry between Bella and Edward. As a man in a relationship of nearly 4 years, I thought they acted just fine, I love my girlfriend even more than when we first started but I don't need to be weak at the knees 24/7, proclaiming it to the world.

I would have given it an 8/10, the only thing I hated was the special effects when the wolves were running, their fur was too static.
