TV Spotlight: Glee

This is the final part of 14. Everyday for the next 2 weeks we’ll be looking at a new show to air this winter season. Returning lets you know when the first episode of this year will air. It might vary in your region, and will probably repeat. What it’s about gives a brief synopsis. Use that to decide if you should read on. Glee

Returning: April 13th 2010

What it’s about: A Glee club, basically a club focused on musicals and choreographed dance, competes to be the best ever.

Current Season: Midway through Season 1

What’s happened so far: Rachel and Finn are the lead singers. Rachel is a selfish diva, and Finn is the nicest guy whose girlfriend, the cheerleader Quinn Fabray, cheated on him with Puck, another singer, and she’s now pregnant. She told Finn it was his, but it recently came out who the real father was.

Mr. Schuester is the faculty member running the Glee club, but he has to deal with his own mess of drama. For instance his wife is a stuck up brat who thought she was pregnant when she gained a little weight. Turned out she wasn’t pregnant at all, but she was so embarrassed she started to fake it. She hatched a plan to take Quinn Fabray’s baby once it was born, but the chance never came as Mr. Schuester found out. He also moved out.

As if his home life wasn’t bad enough, at school the cheerleading coach, Sue Sylvester, starts scheming ways to destroy the Glee club forever so she can get more funding. She sends 3 of her cheerleaders to spy on the club, but the cheerleaders by the time the show took a break they’d grown to love the Glee club. Mr. Schuester exposed her for being a vile…youknowwhat…and she was fired.
