TV Spotlight: Chuck

This is the second part of 14. Everyday for the next 2 weeks we’ll be looking at a new show to air this winter season. Returning lets you know when the first episode of this year will air. Chuck

Returning: January 10th 2010

What it’s about: A normal college drop out nerd named Chuck gets a secret government database implanted into his mind. Now some government agencies want him dead, and others want to protect him. Exciting? Sometimes, though it’s more a comedy than a drama. There are some dramatic elements.

Current Season: Season 3 premiering

What’s happened so far: Sarah and Casey have been assigned to protect Chuck. They work undercover (and minimum paying jobs) near him, while running a base underneath the store he works at (As a member of the Nerd Herd). Sarah and Chuck kind of have a…thing…though they’ve been unable to act on their feelings yet far. The man who gave Chuck the database, called the Intersect, was named Bryce Larkin and he was also Sarah’s ex boyfriend, making things even more complicated.

While fighting the evil government agency Fulcrum, Chuck had to balance his super spy life with his normal life living with his sister Ellie, and playing Call of Duty with his best friend Morgan.
