What it’s about: From the creators of Battlestar Galactica comes a show taking place 56 years before the cylons wipe out the colonies. It’s about terrorism, and artificial intelligence, and just showcasing life in the colonies.
Current Season: Starting Season 1
What’s happened so far: The pilot was released online. In it a girl named Zoe had created an artificial intelligence program that was going to turn heads. However she had problems with her family, and was running away on a train when a terrorist attack blew up the car she was in.
Esai Morales plays Joseph Adama, a lawyer and BSG’s Admiral Adama’s father. His wife and daughter are also killed in the bombing, and he ends up relating to Zoe's father over their shared grief.
Zoe’s father find’s her work and recognizes it as a way to see and be with his loved ones again. He takes his findings to Adama, who is at first shocked and appalled by the whole idea of it.
