Burn Notice
Returning: January 21st 2010
What it’s about: A spy named Michael Westen gets burned listed. Now he’s stranded in Miami, and has to figure out who burned him, and how to get unburned. In the mean time he also helps people, A-team style.
Current Season: Midway through season 3
What’s happened so far: Being burned means that the government destroys all of a spy’s assets and makes him a liability to everyone so he can no longer find work. After being burned, Michael found himself in Miami with his “Trigger happy ex-girlfriend” Fiona. Working with her and his old loyal friend Sam (played by fan favourite Bruce Campbell), he spent episode after episode trying to find the people who burned him as well as acting as spy for hire. Whenever someone needs help with anything, he helps them. For money. Since he doesn’t have any.
He also helps his mom sometimes.
As far as his burn notice goes, he’s met a lot of government agents, all claiming to be able to help him, and all really just having their own agendas. He’s been used and abused, and as far as anyone can tell he’s not really much closer to getting his job back at all. But the show wouldn’t work if he was.
