Plot:

Two young American girls decide to take a road trip throughout Europe. While passing through Germany, their car breaks down, forcing the girls to wander through the woods in search of help. They stumble upon the home of a retired surgeon, however instead of helping the girls, he abducts them, using the date rape drug Rohypnol to sedate them. When they awake, the girls find themselves tied down to medical beds with an unknown Japanese man. The surgeon comes in, and tells them that he was renowned for his operations dealing with the separation of siamese twins. He explains to his unwilling guests that from performing so many "separation" surgeries, he has become obsessed with exactly the opposite. He wants to join the two girls and the man by way of the gastric system, with one person's mouth attached to the anus of the other, becoming a "centipede" of sorts.

Review:

I was turned on to The Human Centipede after asking some friends for suggestions of really funky horror movies. I've always been a huge fan of horror, and have gone on a rampage of downloading movies related to the king of all things horror: HP Lovecraft. And if you're no stranger to Lovecraft's work, you understand exactly how funky his horror can be. Needless to say, a friend suggested The Human Centipede to me, linking to the IMDB page for it. The concept alone scared the hell out of me. I mean, three people strung together and forced to act as one? The two people that were connected in the back of the chain would end up consuming the waste of the person in front of them? The list of disgusting and quite possibly the most excruciatingly twisted and disturbing thoughts I've ever had came in waves, by the hundreds. And right then and there, I almost had a panic attack.
