Article: My Top 10 Films to Watch in 2010

I love to watch movies. Comedy, adventure, romantic-comedy, thriller, war films, spy films—you name it, I’ll watch it. But that doesn’t mean I always go to the movie houses to see every film. I honestly love to watch everything at home, in DVD or Bluray, wherein I can go back to previous scenes whenever I want to, and I don’t have to rush out of the room after the movie has ended. I will just pause/rest for a while, put in a different disk, and then voila, another 100-150min of relaxing movie.

On the other hand, there are movies that you should really watch in cinemas. The likes of 2012, Star Trek, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen—you know, the effects and sound quality which you will not really get at home, no matter how good your home entertainment system is.

Anyway, 2010 promises to be a pretty exciting year for the movies. Every genre has its own bet—romance, action, horror, adventure, etc. And for that, here is my list of the top 10 films that I will definitely watch next year.

1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

(Expected Release: November 2010)

The Boy Who Lived is back for the last time as he fights Voldemort to the end! Well, I was actually disappointed at the sixth movie in the series, “Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince”. Almost everything was changed. It wasn’t really good that for someone who has read the whole series for the nth time now, I can’t even remember what part of the film was worth the money spent on the movie ticket. Good thing they are making this final movie into two parts. At least, I hope, they will have more than enough time to really present most of the things, if not everything, accurately. Well, I really do hope that the makers of this film will be able to redeem themselves after the unsatisfying movie early this year. And they better show the second part of this movie ASAP. Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint are not getting any younger for their roles.

But, what I am really looking forward to in this movie is Emma Watson (Hermione). Hahaha! I love her. And that’s all I have to say about that.

Not a bad list.
Harry Potter Yup
Iron man 2 yup
Legion? I dunno not really sold. It could be good...but don't hold your breath.
Toy Story 3 yup
Salt...not a fan of Angelina Jolie.
The Wolfman looks good though. Reminds me kinda of Bram Stoker's Dracula.
Robin Hood though? I liked Kevin Costner's Robin Hood too. Especially with Alan Rickman. But this will be no Prince of Thieves.
Alice in WOnderland, yup
Prince of Persia...seriously? For all us gamers? We all know it's got like a 10% chance bof being any good, and a 60% chance of being god awful. Video Game movies, not the best track record. COuple that with the first trailer which was so bad. Anyone else notice how 90% of the spoken dialogue is by the princess. This movie is going to be her bitching around and Jake Gyllenhal being like "Yes ma'am". It's gonna suck dude.
Jonah Hex. Better. Megan Fox. Mmm.

Serious Ommisions: Clash of the Titans. Kick Ass. Shutter Island. Nightmare on Elm Street. Need I go on? Anyway not a bad list, I just hate Prince of Persia is on there. Makes me want to gag.
