The Ronin Meets GMLucy of SUN Online

Hello S.U.N. Online fans and fanatics and welcome once again to another entry to my S.U.N. Chronicles! So where are we? So far, we have survived the major contents update. It has been quite frustrating at first—the scheduled four hours become six, and then seven, and then eight. After which, a lot of bugs needed repairs. Dragon skills for the Dragon Knights were missing, we can see tiger pets sort of flying, and then there were missing NPCs, in particular, Dibidin.

I do believe that the update should have gone as smooth as it was in previous updates and maintenance. It’s just that I think the S.U.N. Online gamers have been really excited to check out the game after the originally scheduled four-hour update—this could have been a cause for a sudden jump in traffic to the site, apart from the huge number of players trying to access the game—which could have somehow affected the results of the update, that’s why it stretched to eight hours (that was when WEBZEN decided to pull down the website for a bit to be able to totally finish the update and maintenance).

It’s a good thing that the S.U.N. Support Team had given their very best to fix everything that needs to be fixed, and have answered patiently all the questions, observations and violent reactions in the forum. Kudos to the S.U.N. Team; it’s a job well done.

So what have we got from the update? First and foremost, it offered lots and lots of new quests and opportunities for mid-level players to catch up to those high-level players who often ignore the rest of us when we are pleading them for help in certain missions. One funny thing though is that the items that we used to pick up before and seemed useless—Poisoned Tentacles, Copper, Condiment, Medium, Polluted Tentacles, to name a few—eventually were needed in some quests! That’s why there’d been a “surge in sales” for such players who have been cautious enough to not just throw away everything.

Overall, it has been a great contents update. I was able to level up my Dragon Knight now to Level 83. A few more mobs and I will be turning 84, as I am already in the high 90% in experience. In fact, that is even before I get to complete the other quests available. I am really savoring every “leveling up moment” that I spent with my Anduril (my character’s in-game name). Before, I get snubbed in Cursed Tower events due to my low level and most players too arrogant. Now, you will just have to shout out that you are looking for a party for any Tower event, and voila, you will get to join different party every now and then.

Hey hilemzeld**! Hehe! Her character's cute right? I bet everything's elite, rank A, then all +12! LOL

Anyway, I am Anduril (in-game). It would be great to do some missions with you anytime in the game.
