Ys Online – Open Beta is here!
Date: 30 Jun 2009
Ys Online – Open Beta is here!- It will start on June 30th
- No key needed
- No character wipe after the Open Beta
- Rewards for all the Closed Beta testers
After one month of closed beta testing, finally we are proud to expand the Ys universe to everybody who is eager to go deep into it. All the current Key To Play community will warmly welcome every new European player on the 30th June.
This time no key will be asked to open the doors to the world of Ys. You will only need a Key To Play account to enjoy this fully detailed game. Also there won’t be any character wipe after this!
Choose carefully your race and specialisation following your game style. If you have any doubts, take a look to the Game Guide from our Official Site. And even if you can’t decide, remember you can create a maximum of 6 different characters in your account.
During the Closed Beta phases, more than 100,000 keys have been distributed. Without the help of all the players which have been sharing their suggestions with us, nothing could have been possible. So Key To Play would like to thank them for all their efforts with an exclusive Closed Beta tester reward.

Star Trek Online: Tribble Farming
Date: 12 Mar 2010
Players of Star Trek Online that are looking for more diversions within the game may be interested to note that another activity that you can engage in is tribble farming. The basic principle of tribble farming is very simple – simply put one or more tribbles and a food item in the same location (e.g. your Inventory or your Bank) and then wait for them to turn the food into a new tribble.
You may however be surprised to learn just how many different tribble types there are in the game. Although many players may have picked up only one or two tribbles as loot during missions, diligent tribble-lovers have already identified over twenty different breeds, distinguishable by their fur colour and pattern.
Although tribbles are intrinsically value-less within the game, equipping them and/or stroking them does provide a minor buff to things like healing, resistance and damage, and some breeds are much rarer than others, meaning that they have some value to enterprising farmers.
A degree of research also seems to indicate that different tribbles will produce different kinds of breeds depending on what food you give them.
