Hunter's World has commissioned Johnny Scott, author, broadcaster, hunter and farmer to help them create the world's first ever Massively Multiplayer Online Hunting game. Hunter's World are committed to creating the most realistic hunting game ever produced and ensuring all the character from the real live sport is enshrined within the game. Sir John Scott Bt is best known for writing and co-presenting the BBC television series 'Clarissa and the Countryman'. Johnny, as he was known in the series has a wide range of interests outside of television as he continues his work as a farmer in the Scottish Borders where he has lived and worked for many years. He is a champion of the countryside and its issues, contributing regular articles to 'The Field' and similar magazines on this subject. Johnny has a great love of field sports and his experience stretches well beyond his native shores. Johnny's interests and background make him the ideal person to help ensure Hunter's World stays true to the subject matter. Johnny chaperoned the development team on their successful research trip to the Glen Lyon estate with Senior Producer Ewan Lamont stating that, "Johnny's vast knowledge of the subject matter has really helped us with our game design and we look forward to working closely with him in the future".

During our Reference trip to the Glen Lyon Estate in Scotland, we spent some time with TV broadcaster, hunter and farmer, Johnny Scott who was kind enough to share his wealth of knowledge with us. In the first of our specially commissioned Johnny Scott podcasts, we pick up valuable insights into the world of hunting, including learning more about 'tracking', 'stalking' and how the environment affects the hunt.

To enable us to create an accurate simulation for a hunting MMO, the production and design team were sent to Scotland where they engaged in variety of field sports. Some of the various activities included learning about stalking, clay pigeon shooting and fishing.
