When the name Breo is invoked, most people in the United States or United Kingdom won’t be fully aware of what the company does or the philosophy that they have. I hope though, that as they continue to put out more impressive products, that trend will change.

Breo is a young fashion centric brand that is based out of the United Kingdom, specializing in watches, clothing, and headphones. Two weeks ago I received two pairs of Breo headphones. The smaller, lightweight Natal headphones were great for people looking for a replacement to their Apple iPod earbuds. In addition, I also had the pleasure of listening to music through the de Janeiro headphones. Both sets of headphones were stylish, colorful, and had amazing sound in them that had me hearing new nuisances in songs that I had never heard before.

Are the headphones worth it? Are they worth the high price tag that it requires to procure them? Are these headphones something that only UK residents can hope of using, or does it make sense for US customers to import them over to the states? My answer would have to be a resounding yes. Keep reading below for the beautiful sounding details.

First up, let’s talk about the Natal headphones. The pair that I had was a gorgeous looking red that really stood out. They are two small over the ear cups that are connected with a thin metal wire that will rest on the top of your head. They are very comfortable, and the cups can pivot a bit so you can customize them to get the best fit that you are looking for. They are thin and lightweight, but have good traction on the actual speakers as I went running with them on, and didn’t feel the slightest bit of movement on them.

As for the actual sound quality, the small headphones sound absolutely fantastic. They are able to duplicate sound quality that you would normally have to pay over a hundred dollars for. The Natal’s retail for 30 GBP, which would be about $60-70 with shipping to the United States. So you are getting headphones that are on par with Sennheiser and better than Skull Candy headphones. As I said above, if you are looking for a replacement for your iPod earbuds, and want some great sound quality, these would be fantastic for you.

These are amazing headphones, I've had a pair of the de Janeiro's for a few months now and they are great! I was considering buying Skullcandy, but after I tried these out, they are no comparison. A great product at an ever better price!
