Our Farpoint 2010 Coverage Details and Schedule

We're very excited to be heading out to Farpoint 2010 tonight! Farpoint is a Maryland science fiction media convention being held at the Crowne Plaza Baltimore North in Maryland (USA) on February 12th-14th, 2010. And in case I haven't blogged about it enough, we get to interview Felicia Day while we're there! The full guest list currently includes: Felicia Day (Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog / The Guild / Dollhouse), Sam Witwer (Smallville / Star Wars: The Force Unleashed), Mira Furlan (LOST / Babylon 5), and Lee Arenberg (Pirates of the Caribbean). There are also numerous authors attending, including two favorites of ours: Peter David and Michael Jan Friedman. I also just figured out that Star Trek Klingon language guru Marc Okrand will be there too!

Since this is our first official convention of 2010, I wanted to explain the kind of coverage you can expect from The Convention Fans Blog/Alltern8.com team. For one, I'll be tweeting from the event live! If you don't already, follow me @dreadpiraterose on Twitter to get all the updates. Additionally, all of our pictures from the event will be posted to the official Convention Fans Blog flickr account, which is located here. Photos should go up on Monday. Also on Monday, there will be a full convention report, with (ideally) the transcript from the Felicia Day interview going up on Tuesday.

Our tentative Farpoint 2010 schedule is below. Please note that as with all conventions, schedules are totally subject to change (and they often do). But ideally, this is where you can find us this weekend. Any spare time we have will probably be spent browsing the vendor areas and eating.
