Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Emma Caulfield (Anya)Phoenix Comicon is an Arizona (USA) convention being held May 27 - 30, 2010 at the Phoenix Convention Center and The Hyatt Regency. Entering its ninth year, Phoenix Comicon is expected to draw over 10,000+ attendees in 2010. Believe me when I say I am totally jealous of all 10,000+ people that are getting to attend this killer convention. You'll know what I mean when you hear about the guest list, I promise you.

Speaking of guests, Phoenix Comicon sent out a few press releases earlier in the week announcing some late additions to the con's line up. One such guest is Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Emma Caulfield (Anya). Emma will be on hand to discuss her webcomic, Contropussy, and will also be doing a Q&A to discuss her past work and other projects.

Another recent addition is Jaime Paglia. Paglia is the co-creator and Executive Producer of the Syfy Channel series, Eureka, which is currently in production on its fourth season. Eureka was nominated in 2007 for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Visual Effects for a Series. It also won the Leo Award for Best Visual Effects in a Dramatic Series. Convention Center Director Matt Solberg commented, "Maybe we'll get some clues on what to expect in the 4th season."

Also joining Caulfield and Paglia are Ethan Van Sciver, Michael A. Stackpole, Wil Wheaton, Felicia Day, Colleen Clinkenbeard, Jolene Houser, Mike McFarland, Leanna Renee Hieber, James A. Owen, B. Clay Moore, Benjamin Glendenning, Daniel Davis, Eddie Nuñez, J. David Spurlock, Jaina Solo, Tristen Citrine, Aaron Douglas, Gary Lockwood, James Marsters, John Schneider, Jonathan Frakes, LeVar Burton, Lou Ferrigno, Ray Park, Calabrese (band), Spawn Atomic (band), Kevin R. Grazier, and many more! And on yeah, did I mention the legendary Stan Lee is also attending?

Tickets for Phoenix Comicon are a steal, with a full weekend pass + Thursday night preview ticket costing only $30 if you buy it today (Wednesday). You can't even catch an IMAX movie with your significant other for that price these days. Single day tickets are also available. Friday is $20, Saturday is $25, and Sunday is $15. However, after today, tickets are only available at the door, and they are going up in price a little bit (but not much).
