TV & FILM
The first major announcement is that the stars of Warehouse 13, the smash hit show that’s on track to become SyFy’s biggest ever series in the States, will be participating in panels and signing sessions across the weekend. Indiana Jones meets the X-Files, Warehouse 13 centres on a secret US government warehouse crammed with ancient relics, mysterious artefacts and supernatural souvenirs – come and find out what’s got US viewers so stoked!
It’s one of the iconic moments of cinema – Ronny Cox, playing ill-fated city slicker Drew Ballinger in Deliverance, picks out ‘Dueling Banjos’ on his guitar opposite Billy Redden’s hillbilly. The scene made a one hit wonder out of the song, while the acclaimed backwoods thriller started Cox on a glittering Hollywood career that has lasted over three decades. So the London MCM Expo is understandably proud to announce that Ronny Cox will be one of the special guests when the UK’s top entertainment event returns to the Excel Centre on 24-25 October. Appearing on both days of the show, Ronny Cox will be meeting with fans and posing for photographs, as well as answering questions about his life in the movies and playing guitar with his band.
