This is part two of a two part interview with Traci Hines, who is known in the cosplay world for her downright magical Disney princess cosplay and YouTube videos. To read part one of the interview, click here!
Kelly: How has your cosplay experience impacted your ambitions to be a singer and a performer?
Traci: I believe my cosplaying has really made a difference in my struggle to become a singer. For one thing, because of my cosplaying and singing at home for YouTube, I am now actually performing for a living at these childrens' parties and events, and that includes singing! Although some people might consider doing this type of entertainment a "small scale" performing gig, I just think I am one of the luckiest girls in the world: I am a singer/actress/model that is doing all three for a living, and at the same time, getting to help make dreams come true!
The events are more intimate, yes, but because of that I get to get to know these special little girls and boys and actually see face to face how my singing and my acting is impacting them. If it weren't for my love of cosplay, I don't know that Laura, the owner of the party company, would have ever seen my YouTube videos and hired me. She clicked on the video still because I was dressed and looked like Ariel in the clip, and if I didn't, who knows if she would have even found me?
I also think that because I do a lot of Disney on my YouTube channel, it has helped me get many more subscribers than I would have if I had only done pop covers. I am lucky because I do so many different styles of music on my channel, so I have a broad following as well. I love that!

I like all you'r Princess...^^
