Well hello there, Alltern8.com!! This being my first blog entry, I figured I should take a few seconds to introduce myself. My name is Scheris, and I like to blog about many things that are not limited to Anime, Cosplay, Horror, Films and Music. I hope that you will enjoy reading my ramblings.

So, anyway. I will not bore you with details any further. I'd like to use the rest of this entry to review some Manga and Anime by the Artist "Arina Tanemura", since she is so underrated. She is the writer of one of my favorite Manga "Full Moon Wo Sagashite". Granted, it takes a few chapters to get into this, but stick with it and you may like it. The plot is surprisingly tear jerking, it has to be one of the saddest Anime's I have seen, and most depressing Manga that I have read. "Full Moon Wo Sagashite" is a 'shoujo' story about a twelve year old girl named Mitsuki that sadly.. has a sarcoma in her throat. Her dream is to be a singer, and as cliche as this is, it works for this plot. One day a pair of Shinigami or "Gods of death" pay her a visit and let it slip that she has a year to live. A little magic, sparkle sparkle, and they agree to help her fulfill her dreams before she dies- so that she has no regrets. Begins an epic adventure filled with unrequited love, death, the dark side of pop star fame and plenty of sexy shoujo guys for the fangirls to awe over.

At a first glance, this manga is very deceiving, A show about a 12-year-old girl who "magically" gets transformed into a 16-year-old pop star singer? It sounds like....it sounds like fail. Nothing special right? Just another shoujo manga .On the contrary. This manga is one of the most depressing things that I have read, and I have read A LOT.

Story of Full Moon Wo Sagahite

The story of Full Moon is well written, its original, it has deep emotional torment and is full of sparkles :D The characters are well developed and it is also full of twists and cliff hangers. Some of the little stories will make you giggle, especially the fanservice scenes Arina draws for us fans. The romance story's in Full Moon are amazing, and can make the reader feel very emotional whilst reading . 9/10
