Interview: An Interview with Team Infused

Professional gaming is something that’s becoming far more common around the world, with names like John “Fatal1ty” Wendel becoming household, and product sponsorships helping to solidify the reputations of the most well known. This industry has grown so much that a lot of professionals and semi-pros don’t just form their own team, they now game under the banner of a single organisation; one like Infused.

Infused was formed as a gaming team back in 2005 where it was the typical clan of semi-pros doing what they did best: killing other players in Call of Duty. Over the years however, with the grouping of other teams playing a multitude of games, and the growth of sponsorship and endorsements, Infused has grown into something far different than its roots: a gaming company. Now a Limited firm that manages the next generation of gaming professionals, Infused is a juggernaut of gamers that keeps on growing.

Today I’ve picked a select few of their die hard Halo 3, Call of Duty, Quake Wars and other game players from the midst to ask them what it’s like being part of just such an organisation.

NB. Thanks to all the Infused players for responding to me, but due to the massive amount of replies I received I couldn’t use all of your answers. The effort is much appreciated though.

Well there’s a lot of you, but to get things started, can you tell the alltern8 readers a little about yourselves?

Vixxen: I’m Sarah - aka vixxen - I play for Infused's female team. We joined Infused in 2009.

Crumbs: Hi I'm crumbs. I and MerlinatoR were picked up by Infused quite recently and we’re hoping to compete in Enemy Territory tournaments.
