Woods Terrain - the face of the Woods Terrain card without stats, with the wildspirit illustrations made more visible here. There could be various wildspirits with a Woods empathy, but i went for this one Non-Troop cards tend to have wildspirits and demonic creatures on them as they are more generic and non-culture specific
Woods Terrain Grass Terrain - the face of the terrain card without stats. a grass wildspirit is highlighted (on the final card it is faded back into the background, but i thought this was an opportunity to show it more clearly) It's designed with the flavour of a map parchment, hence the bordering illustration
Grass Terrain Land Terrain - for the Terrain cards, which the Troop units contest over and for. The beings shown are of the world of Edadh. The wildspirit, here used to symbolically embody the Land terrain type, has an opposite, which is a demonic being that in this case is a twisted mimicry of the wildspirit.
Land Terrain Dzaa EliteMaster - full illu - The full, billowing cloak illu of the Dzaa master used on the cover of the WFE box. The Dzaa brought gunpowder weapons to Edadh and the pepperbox pistol she's toting reflects the Dzaa refinement of the technology. Plus it looks cool
Dzaa EliteMaster - full illu Dzaa EliteMaster - WFE cover - the cropped version of the illu with designwork. Used on the cover of the War for Edadh starter set. The Dzaa are the Empire who conquered the world some few centuries past.
Dzaa EliteMaster - WFE cover Dzaa Mounted Scout - Scouts who travel further afield will go mounted. These bipeds are ideal and are of a series of like species. Armed with rifle as well as the customary sword.
Dzaa Mounted Scout Ang Outrunner - A unit of outrunners are accompanied by hunters, one per individual. The hunter in question is a native of watery, wooded regions. The Ang are mainly composed of 'Qai, or Meoqai, an intelligent species who are semi-amphibious (some are, some aren't). So pairling up with animals at home in water give them the tactical ability of utilising waterways to close distance to enemies, or to evade them
Ang Outrunner Dzaa Mega-Cavalry - a Troop type for the Dzaa warring faction. The great beast sports a Unit of Dzaa upon it's back, armed with longspears and blunderbuss
Dzaa Mega-Cavalry Ang Master - Combat Master Cards supplement Troop card stats in the game and this is an illu for the face side. The hat is seen often in the faction as well as the subjugated culture from which the Ang originate - the Cerchae. I gave her various weapons to show her versatility (as the card can supplement any troop card)
Ang Master Dzaa Warring Faction banner - The Dzaa conquered the cultures of Edadh centuries ago. They brought improved technologies and trade forms with them but still rebels fight their law. They are ruled by the Yiom, a winged race who originate from the clouded moon above Edadh, coming to the world in a fleet of airships. They built huge, cloud-scraping cities across the world and from there they impose their prescence upon the subjugated cultures.
Dzaa Warring Faction banner Ang Warring Faction banner - The Ang live in a land of floodlands, rivers, marshes and wooded ridges and hills. They adhere to the Old Ways and follow four Old Gods, primary amongst them the goddess of the forests. They fight an old battle against an ancient and wild enemy, and also fight against the rule of the Huaos-Dzaa
Ang Warring Faction banner Dzaa Standard - reverse of the card with a full picture, rather than the 'cropped at the legs' pictures of the Troop cards. Dzaa standards are great banners, as shown, and as such are more standard standards than the Ang
Dzaa Standard Ang Standard - reverse side of the card showing the typical 'standard' bearer for the Ang Warring Faction. They wear the hides of sacred beasts to distinguish them
Ang Standard Dzaa Troop Card Reverse - Dzaa Scout, card reverse, with four other scouts in the background to ake up the Unit. Although a Unit can be of any number, 5 is thought of as a base Unit number for skirmishes
Dzaa Troop Card Reverse Ang Troop Card Reverse - showing the flip side of an Ang troop card, the troop in question being a Shieldmaiden. As well as shield and spear they have throwing axes. There are shadowy figures in the background to represent the remainder of the Unit, which is made up of an arbitrary number of troops
